Dr. Frank Chikane is a distinguished South African theologian, author, and leader with a profound impact in ministry, activism, and governance. Ordained in 1980, he led the unification of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa, serving as its president from 1999 to 2019. He holds master's degrees from the University of Natal and Harvard University. Pastor Chikane has served as General Secretary of the South African Council of Churches, a member of the Independent Electoral Commission for South Africa's first democratic elections, and held senior government positions, including Director-General in the Presidency. An accomplished author, he is known for his powerful voice on faith, justice, and reconciliation. He currently serves as Moderator of the Churches Commission on International Affairs of the World Council of Churches, speaking globally on issues of leadership and social transformation.
